The Federal Court in Tacoma was made aware of what was going on with the so called Mental Health System here in Washington and the Criminal Justice System; i.e., we either have corrupt federal judges or the filings were blocked from the judge by a corrupt law clerk who ignored the FACT that disabled and mentally compromised indigent criminal Defendants were undergoing sham competency evaluations and restoration with inappropriate forced antipsychotic administration.

All responses from the court were bogus, misstating fact and perverting law with a DENIAL of the requested relief. The court allowed through inaction that was required by law multiple Constitutional Right Violations and forced antipsychotic medication under a void order from a Pierce County WA Superior Court Judge where legitimate representation and any form of due process was absent. Assigned counsel was a sham! 8TH Amendment rights were also violated.

The State of Washington Department of Health MEDICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMISSION refused to act upon a request to STOP the forced antipsychotics where the RCW gives them authority for emergent injunctive relief stating no laws had been broken; they were sent all the documents filed with the federal court that clearly articulated the laws associated with RCW 10.77. They know that without a legitimate judicial order a right to refuse antipsychotics without the threat of injection existed; they were informed that in the instant case no judicial authority to force antipsychotics existed in the RCW where the accusation was a class C Felony.

Reconsideration of their decision is pending although injunctive relief is no longer needed because when WSH was emailed a copy of an email that went to the FBI and DOJ special litigation unit they stopped the drugs;the RCW defined the actions by the WSH doctors as kidnapping –re-evaluation the very next day determined my son to be COMPETENT–the weekend passed and on Monday the Joint Commission showed up at WSH–first thing Tuesday morning my son was sent back to the jail. The Joint Commission documented 15 pages of violations on the civil commitment side of WSH.

There was no documentation related to the forensic side where PEOPLE are being forced drugs without due process and under the usurpation of legislative authority without the proper physical work-up to rule out a physical cause for psychiatric symptoms and without an appropriate observation period prior to initiating toxic meds. NO AUTHORITY ACTS.

AFTER the initial DENIAL of action by the fed court and the MEDICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMISSION, a patient on the civil side allegedly murdered another patient (both men came to this institution through the criminal justice system) and a young lady hung herself–the Joint Commission investigated because of the aforementioned. Had the Federal judge ordered a response to the Habeas Corpus Petition to all respondents listed I believe these lives would have spared; WSH and the jail would have been aware of the federal courts involvement.

A suicide that also occurred at the jail may have been prevented for the same reason. This has the appearance of criminal law violations supported by the government. What is needed is legal help. No attorney will go up against the system; fear of losing their license to practice law appears to trump their civic duty. WE NEED ATTORNEYS WHO ARE WELL SEASONED AND READY TO RETIRE TO HELP STOP THE OPPRESSION AND TYRANNY!!!

Something has to drastically change in the mental health system. Our loved ones are at times treated worse than criminals. For our loved ones to be forced to take drugs that may at times be damaging to their well being is a complete and total loss of all their rights as a human being! Just plain wrong!

And then they are told none of their rights are being violated. My son was forced against his will to take drugs that caused him to slur his speech and stumble when he walked. And this is supposed to heal him? And we are told this is not a loss of his human rights?

He has been kept in hospital wards for many, many, many months without even the right to go outside and breathe fresh air and be in sunlight. This seems quite inhumane. Even prisoners and criminals get more sunlight and fresh air than this.

Something drastic needs to change. Our loved ones are sick not violent, dangerous criminals as they at times are labeled for no reason. Doctors more often than not are not even interested in family input. Yet family’s often know more about their loved one than a doctor could learn in many years.

Something has to CHANGE! The system seems broken. Very broken!

I have been thinking about you two and your walk–how is it going? I would be there if I weren’t out of state. I hope you are able to get your message of change and hope out far and wide, organize and touch the lives needing you.

My love and deep respect to you,
    Grace

    Letter to the Press:

Cindi and other MOM/s should be passing near Centralia soon. Please consider covering her story. Thanks

Robert F. Kennedy said: “Fear not the path of truth for the lack of people walking on it.”

For now only a few MOMS join Cindi Fisher in her 100-mile walk to bring attention to the abysmal state of Washington’s mental health system, but that doesn’t mean she is not on the path of truth.

And a growing number are joining Cindi spiritually as the evidence grows that Cindi is indeed on the right track.

In fact, what Cindi has to share is exactly the message we need to hear in the wake of the Aurora theater killings. Cindi has done the research, and she knows that those suffering the kind of emotional trauma or mental break that Holmes has obviously experienced are NOT being helped by the current standard of care.

She knows that our drug-based, prison-like treatment centers are creating rather than curing or properly treating mental distress. She is aware of Robert B Whitaker’s and others’ recent revelations of overwhelming scientific evidence showing that long-term and/or high dose treatment with psychotropic drugs often worsens symptoms and damages the brain.

In other words, our current standard of care for mental disorders is causing an epidemic of mental health disability.

History has shown and common sense and compassion insists that there is a better way, but the pharmaceutical industry today decides which way will be followed.

Cindi says we must re-invent our communities and create places where hearts and minds can heal.

“And So,” she says, “we walk. The walk is our voice.”

Please “walk” with Cindi in any way you can to support her and her efforts.

My prayers and love to both of you and thank you from my family for what you are doing as we have just recently experienced this problem with both the courts and hospital systems when my nephew was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

My sister and her family have watched him deteriorate over the last 3 years. Since she and her husband are nurses, they knew the signs and tried (in vain) to get help, but no one would listen. It took him pulling a gun on his family because he thought they were witches and the vioces in his head were telling him we were putting chips in his brain. Now that he has no insurance, my family is left to try and help him stay stable with no help. So, I am very greatful to both of you for bringing this to light.

People need to be aware of the failure of our government and healthcare system when it comes to this disease.
